The basis of this vibrant composition was a love story between college sweethearts, John Elmendorf and Mary Lindsay, who married and raised a family while working on global and domestic matters. In the US and Mexico, our home was academia, starting when we met at University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and then wherever our progressive ideas took us, including our final home base in Sarasota, Florida due to New College.”
